A note from the owners:
'It is a bitter-sweet experiencing selling our first home, but we hope the next buyers enjoy it as much as we have for the last four years. Having never lived in the west, we didn't know what to expect on this side of town. We were delighted to find that living in Bowden is the perfect spot between easily commuting to our jobs by bike, train or tram, while feeling like we live in a friendly and exciting suburb.
What initially drew us to this apartment was the fact that it had similar square footage to a two-bedroom apartment, but at a significantly lower price tag. We have been able to use the second room as both a study and a second bedroom for guests, which worked out well and has allowed family and friends to stay with us when visiting. We have found the open plan living area and large balcony have made for a fantastic entertaining space, and we've frequently had friends over for summer BBQ's and dinners.
This apartment and Bowden have been wonderful for us, and we have loved living in a cost effective home while getting to enjoy the benefits of a city-fringe dwelling, in a suburb that seems to constantly have new cafes, breweries, and events being held. The twice weekly markets are hard to resist and strolling over for dumplings and craft beer has become a weekly habit. On Sunday's you are spoilt for breakfast choice, with a number of local cafes a very short walk (our favourite is the Loose Caboose).
We wish you all the best in making this home your own space and filling it with as many wonderful memories as we have.n
