Description: Gentle undulating well drained country. Originally timbered with stunted jarrah and yate.
Soil Types: Good mixed soil types from, sandy gravels and duplex with small areas sands and good strong lakebank country. Approximately 50% lakebank, 10 % heavy gravels and 40% sand & sandy loams over clays.
Nutrition level extremely good with very good fertiliser over numerous years with applications of lime and gypsum to the property and pastures top dressed with super potash 3:1 at 130 kg per hectare and cereals with Agstar extra at 100 kgs plus 100 kgs urea with oilseed crops at 100 kgs agstar and 100 kgs urea. 2008 planting was only a small area of canola.
