Last Listing description (January 2019)

14 Grey Street is a gift at its new, inexpensive asking price of $189 500.
You may have met me once. Perhaps you saw me in 2015 when I first appeared on the Northam homes for sale market place. Back then I had a price tag of $348 000. Maybe you couldn't see any value in taking me on. Don't write me off. Everyone deserves a second chance.
I'm a grand old red brick and galv iron home built in 1935 at the beginning of the Art Deco era. I have high ceilings and lots of natural timber in floor boards, door and window frames, architraves, skirtings and picture rails.

I have a really large kitchen with walk-in pantry and a huge dining room with doors to the patio. The lounge room is larger than normal too and features a locally made Bushman wood fired room heater.
One of my three bedrooms has an open fireplace and French door access to the side verandah.
There's a great Colorbond garage in my backyard. It's about 6x9m with concrete floor, power and two roller doors; one to the yard, the other to a rear bitumenised laneway that services my back boundary. I also have a carport with a concrete driveway from my front boundary, through the carport to a rear roller door to the lane.
I'm in a precinct zoned by the Shire of Northam for Mixed Use and I'm surrounded by medical professional business operating from premises similar to me. So it would be ideal if a business entrepreneur would take me for use in a kindred business activity. However, I can be used as a dwelling if that's your preference and I do have private residences opposite me.
Some people have told me Im in need of a makeover and really need my kitchen, bathroom and laundry and general decor modernised. That may be so but with my super attractive asking price of $189 500 you'll easily budget for future renovations.
Don't write me off. I'm unoccupied and Steve Hill and Lara Turnbull are ready to arrange your inspection now.
