"Mumballup Pecans" was established in 1980 with the planting of 840 Pecan grafted seedling trees.Today there are approximately 3,000 various aged and variety Pecan Nut trees with further room on the property to plant more Pecans in the current plantation as it matures. Each year approximately 100 tonne of Pecan Nuts are imported into W.A. At present there is a strong demand for the nuts and they bring a very good price. The water supply comes from two large dams (approx 20 Megalitres each) along with three bores of which two are equipped to ensure year round water supply for irrigation, with ample supply to further grow the plantation. There is more than adequate infrastructure to support the enterprise plus a full plant and equipment list.A side line to the enterprise is the grazing of Dorper sheep which generates a handy income.A full "Information Memorandum" is available upon request.Contact John Wilson on 0428 866 033 or Jeff Heath on 0429 311 223
