Last Listing description (September 2012)

BIG, BOLD, MODERN!
It's a pleasure to present this dual level home with a modern, cutting edge design.
Being currently tenanted, this substantial four bedroom, two bathroom home is ideal for families not quite ready to relocate but want to secure their future now. Enjoy peace of mind knowing the property is well maintained and loved by the current tenants, while utilising the tax benefits of an investment property!

With considerable thought, this property was cleverly designed to maximise the full use of the 697 square metre block. The result being a spacious home without sacrificing the need for outdoor living as there is drive through side access, together with a large workshop, outdoor patio and still room for a pool. So there's plenty of room for the kids to play.
There's no shortage of living space either, with a formal lounge or theatre room, family room, and at the front of the home is the balcony which has been enclosed for all weather entertaining. The kitchen is well appointed including a dishwasher and rangehood and the bedrooms will easily accommodate growing teenagers.
I WISH I COULD TAKE IT WITH ME.........This was our dream home, a place where we could watch our children grow, and accommodate their needs as well as our own.
Lakelands has gorgeous parks and bushlands, neat and safe streets where our kids could ride their bikes, and a primary school just a few blocks away.
It is a sad decision to sell, but work commitments required us to move and now sell our beautiful home. If we could pick it up and take it with us we would.
We built our house with space in mind. It has a minimum 3m clearance around the whole house; and splitting the house over two levels (two storey) allows for a very large backyard, which we had planned to add a sun room and possibly a granny flat or pool when the kids got to their teenage years.
Our 6m x 6m enclosed balcony is the highlight of our home. We would often BBQ there on summer nights and enjoy the cool sea breeze blowing through the caf style concertina windows. The breeze would meander down the staircase into the foyer and kitchen areas, assisting with the cooling of our home.
From the balcony we could see across Comet Bay and on New Year's Eve we could catch glimpses of the fireworks on the foreshore. Our balcony was a place of all year round entertaining.
Just off the balcony is the entertaining area (parents retreat/theatre), which has my favourite views towards the ranges (the sunrise from here is beautiful).
I always felt safe living in Lakelands and in our home. We are close enough to the shops to grab supplies, but just far enough out of town to avoid the hustle and bustle. There is even back roads to get to the Meadow Springs shops, so you need not ever venture out to the highway.
I mentioned before, it is a hard decision to sell our home. We were married by the lake in the park down the road and have many happy memories of our time in this house.
Our home was perfect for our needs and coupling this with the views, lakes, bushlands and close amenities I feel it will hard to find another house or suburb like it.
Lakelands is a highly sought after location, so I recommend an early inspection to avoid disappointment. Call Danielle now on 0421631319 for an appointment.
