A short walk away and you have the Chidlow Tavern, Pharmacy, Caf and Post Office/Newsagency. At the Growers Market on Rosedale Road, there is the local butcher and fuel depot.

In Chidlow itself, there is a Kindergarten and Primary School and Eastern Hills High School is a 5 minute drive away in Mt. Helena.

The iconic Lake Leschenaultia is approximately 3 kilometres away for that refreshing swim in summer.

The block has two road accesses. The cottage is situated close to Herbert Street and the rear of the block faces Willcox Street. The property would suit a potential purchaser that would want to build their dream home on the back part of the block facing Willcox Street and then perhaps rent out the cottage to supply an income. The cottage could also be used for an artists/pottery studio or anyone wanting to work from home with the peace and quiet of their own space.
