The property is one of the districts earliest properties with a surveyor by the name of Gray taking it up in the early years. In the early years many farmers from inland areas walked sheep down to the property to take advantage of its permanent water supplies and abundant feed.
The current owner purchased the property in the early 1990's and has farmed on organic practices over many years.
