Cannibal Creek Vineyard took out a staggering nine awards, including wine of the show at the annual French Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Wine Show , Le Concours des Vins de Victoria in 2014
Other awards include the Casey Cardinia Business Awards 2017 Winner Hospitality Award.
James Halliday has given the 2016 Cannibal Creek Reserve Pinot Noir 95/100 and good praise.
Jeremy Oliver has also highly rated their wines saying ... one of the few Australian... that can rival the best from Marlborough Cannibal Creek Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2017 95/100.
The winery is fully equipped to process 40 tonne and modern quality equipment which includes Air bag press, Crusher & Destemmer , Elevator, Sorting table and Transfer pump and Must pump and tank storage for about 30,000 litres, many barrels and app 60000 bottles of wine stock at any given time
There is a Packing shed with Coolroom, a Workshop, Machinery shed and stockyards.
The vineyard comes with all vineyard equipment and tractors. It has panoramic views of Mt Cannibal and is set on granite soils unique to the area and regarded as one of the best ingredients creating the wines. There are approximately 7000 vines of various Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon , Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay varieties. A 6.5 megalitre dam provides ample irrigation water through a drip system, other dams, Cannibal Creek , water tanks and mains water.
