A Precious Building In Red Cliffs' History
Built in 1930, this historic building has seen many changes in its colourful lifetime. During its early days it was home to the county fire brigade board & later the local CFA. In the 1980's the shed at the rear of the building was built to help with repairs to hoses, extinguishers & second fire truck, which was proudly purchased with hard earned funds raised by the Red Cliffs community. In 1993 the current (new) Red Cliffs Fire Station was built, the official opening on the 18th Nov 1995, as the old fire station had become too small. Not only has this beautiful building rich in red Cliffs' history seen generations of local fire fighters, it has seen royalty proudly parade past & has also survived a world war. Now it's your opportunity to be the next guardian of this vitally important chapter of Red Cliffs' past. The past decade has seen this building used as a single bedroom residence & currently as a very popular Cafe. How you use this precious building is up to you, this is your opportunity to choose how the story will continue!
