The Iconic Penshurst Hotel was built in 1862. The 2 story bluestone building is situated prominently on the corner of Martin & Bell St in the centre of Penshurst. Penshurst is an historic rural service centre situated at the foot of Mt Rouse in South West Victoria. It has a range of sporting facilities including football, netball, and bowling clubs with the Racing Club continuously celebrating its Cup meeting on Boxing Day since 1866.

Two small private dining rooms with polished floors adjoin a polished main hallway that leads to a formal function room. The main sports bar area is a great place to watch Fox Sports while enjoying a drink around the polished wooden barrels. At the rear of the Sports Bar you can enjoy a casual drink on the spacious timber deck or on the large grassed outdoor area.
