Mt Napier, one of Western Victorias earliest original pastoral runs C1840s features a magnificent example of early colonial architecture, the centrepiece of which is a beautifully restored and maintained homestead. The homestead, surrounded by outstanding gardens, grounds and outbuildings, is of bluestone origins dating back to the 1850s, and substantially enlarged to incorporate a red brick extension of Edwardian architecture in 1906. It is believed the southern weatherboard wing was added around the same period.
