Fully automated Disk mill installed in January 2020, feeding into 15t silo for supply to mixer wagon or dairy silo of 5t. Supplied from a linked system from the grain storage capacity of 2 x 85t silos and 2 x 5t silos. Separate 35t protein silo directly feeds into the dairy. 6t silo for calf meal.
Adjacent to Dairy Yard is 40 bed free stall facility with access straight onto dairy yard. Also, a calving pad next to this, again with access to dairy yard.
There is a concrete 250-300 cow feed pad, with shade sails and a timer sprinkler system on the west side of the dairy with access to stand off pads or the main laneway. The area is well fenced and provides heavy vehicle access direct to silage bunker areas.
The other 300 cow feed pad is to the north of the dairy, set up with concrete bins and access to another main laneway.
The property is set up to handle a 2-herd system, with multiple access options to many parts of the farm.
Most paddocks have dual access gateways off the lanes for stock and drive through access along the back of paddocks along the irrigation channels.
Water supply is from the farm bore, with 2 separate pumps and 4 water tanks providing 90,000 litres of storage. Main lines are ranging from 50mm - 32mm and the majority of paddocks have 2 water troughs in each paddock for stock.
The feeding systems and herd standoff areas will facilitate for the intensive beef feeding operators as well as existing use.
