Last Listing description (November 2024)

This really is an amazing part of the world, where the Jamieson and Goulburn Rivers meet and flow into magnificent Lake EIldon and wildlife abounds in the vast tracts of forest. You can enjoy life here too and this modest but quite delightful home is ready and waiting. Sure you could make some improvements in the future, but it is perfectly comfortable just as it is and you might be too busy fishing!
The home is set on a huge block, well off the road, with established trees and gardens so it is peaceful and private. You can sit in the afternoon sun on the front verandah, listen to the native birds and really relax! As the sun sets behind the forest covered hills you might even enjoy a nice cold beverage or two. The popular Jamieson Brewery is only a few minutes away if you need to pick up some beers. They also serve some delicious meals but make a booking as it is pretty popular! There are a few other good options for dining and supplies within easy reach, including the Jamieson General Store, Jamieson Cafe and the Courthouse Hotel in the incredibly picturesque old township. The booming regional town of Mansfield is about 20 minutes in the other direction with a daily school bus service.
