While we think it will be hard to tear yourself away from your new country home, the huge aquatic playground of Lake Eildon is a 5 minute drive, with selection of deep water concrete boat ramps at Goughs Bay. You can enjoy a dip in the sparkling Delatite River at Bracks Bridge en-route. Mansfield township is less than 15 minutes away and there is a school bus service with a stop only metres from the front gate. If you really need to go to Melbourne you can head around the corner onto Howes Creek Road and be on the highway in about 10 minutes. But hurry home...you don't want to miss a day in paradise!
