The low pitch roof nestles the structure into the slope giving the house a hide away feeling.
The roof area is almost twice that of the interior to allow maximum shelter. It was designed as a 12 foot verandah surrounding a central room.
It provides undercover outdoor living easily accessible from the main room: There is an undercover carport with a generous entry that also accommodates firewood storage.
