Last Listing description (July 2017)

Located in the always popular area of Weymouth and just a short stroll from the river's edge, this spacious renovated shack offers the lucky owners a holiday getaway to this peaceful seaside village.
It's not often you find a shack this luxurious. Recently the home has undergone some renovations with new flooring, painting and an updated bathroom. The property features a modern open plan lounge room/kitchen complete with river views and is ideal for a family, with two bedrooms inside the shack and another two bedrooms in a separate bungalow at the rear of the property
Outside you have a large undercover entertainment area perfect for BBQ's with friends and family, or to just sit and relax with a beer or glass of wine in hand immersing yourself in the holiday atmosphere that Weymouth has to offer.

There is plenty of room in the double garage/workshop to lock up your prize possessions and the yard is large enough for your boat, motor home or extra vehicles.
From the property it is just a short stroll to the river where there are some great swimming and kayaking spots. However if you prefer the waves of the ocean then the beach is just a short drive from the property. There are two boat ramps in the area one of which can access the river and if you have a larger boat there is a separate boat ramp giving you access to the ocean.
Weymouth is a small coastal community located on Tasmania's North East Coast where the Pipers River meets the ocean. It is made up of predominantly shacks with a smaller percentage of substantial dwellings and is a popular destination over the summer holiday period. Recreational activities include fishing, swimming, water skiing & various other water sports. The Tam O' Shanter Golf Club is only a couple of minutes drive from here. It is a 45 minute drive to the city of Launceston and 30 minutes to the coastal towns of Bridport and George Town.
