Last Listing description (March 2021)

With Queenstown set to boom with the construction of a world class mountain bike trail underway and talks of the local mine about to reopen any day the town has seen a real surge in activity over the last couple of months.

This could be your stepping stone to get into the property market at an affordable price. Yes this property does need some finessing for sure but the bones are great!

Come and take a look at her... She is the traditional Queenstown metal clad 3 bedroom home which means she can handle the weather. There is a sweet little room at the entrance to take off your wet shoes & coat before entering the home and not drag wet dirty clothes and shoes all through your beautiful home.

When you step foot into the home you are welcomed into the Lounge Room which is warmed by the woodheater which in winter is a welcome delight. Walking through from the Lounge to either the expansive Kitchen where the home chef will be at home. There is plenty of storage in the existing kitchen but if this style of kitchen doesn't work for you then I'm sure any of the flat pack designs would slot right in and really lift this space. Personally I would just apply some lightly coloured paint to give the room so depth.

All 3 bedrooms are to the left of the house and are of a good size. There are no built-ins currently however, there are some freestanding wardrobes. The Bathroom is generous in size and is currently configured with a combined walk in shower & toilet set up. There is scope to potentially add a bath tub to this bathroom if your needs deemed it necessary or if you just wanted to change the shower cubical to a larger one the bathroom could certainly handle this.

Then you walk through to the Laundry and Garage. The Laundry is quite simple and located at the back of the garage. You could beautify this if you wanted to but realistically this is a laundry. And then you have your Garage! It's a tandem Garage which basically means you can fit 2 cars (usually 2 small cars) 1 behind each other in the garage. A more practical use for the Garage is to use 1/2 to park in and 1/2 for a Workshop or He/She-Cave. It is a truly cool space and has a door that leads out to the garden which is home to a further garden shed. and some beautiful roses.

This has been a long term rental property so we can certainly assist you in exploring the rental possibilities of this property!
