Roaring Beach is noted for its Artisan Community, indeed Nubeena is quiet a town (10 mins away) boasting, schools, churches, shops, restaurants. There is also an 'Emergency Capable' Medical Centre, a Library, Council Chambers, an active CWA and a Rotary Chapter. The waterways of Wedge Bay are a fisherman's dream, pristine, with Salmon Farms and Mussel farms close by.
Nubeena provides an Administrative Hub with the population at under 500 swelling to 2000 odd during the holiday seasons.
