Peonietta (Peonies from Nietta) is a hugely successful 20 hectare peony farm in Tasmania's pristine high country. It contains approximately 80 to 85,000 plants at varying stages of maturity. It is one of the largest single peony farms in the Southern hemisphere.
Imagine having a money tree that produces 40-80,000 $10 notes every year with minimal upkeep! Well although peonies aren't trees as such, the plants at Peonietta will continue to produce beautiful, highly sought after flowers for decades to come. In fact some peony plants have been known to continually produce stunning flowers for over a century!
The hard work has been done here, so with just a little maintenance and fertilizing throughout the year, these wonderful plants will continue bringing in the cash year after year after year. The harvest period usually lasts for only 6 to 7 weeks so most of the year you are free to do as you please.
