Alongside the house is a double carport and a double garage (concrete floor, power connected) plus a fully insulated games room with wood heater and 4-person spa! There is also a covered area for the boat and approx. 12 ton of locally sourced firewood. Alongside the games room is a sheltered entertainment area for BBQs and a large fire-pit (with separate wood storage area). The backyard is very well-fenced and has a chook yard plus a hothouse (with water connected and a wash area). There are approx. 55,000 litres of water storage.

Lake Crescent is a wide, shallow body of water famous for Trophy Trout and near-by Lake Sorell has recently reopened to anglers after an intensive Carp Management Program. Interlaken is a collection of permanent residents, holiday homes and farms located approx. 30 minute drive to Bothwell and the same to Oatlands which has a Hospital, District School, IGA Supermarket, Post Office, Bank and great cafes. Hobart is just over an hour and a half away while Launceston is about the same to the north.
