It is the amazing diversity of this property that will catch your attention. From cleared, elevated land with gorgeous views, to a gully of ferns to explore and substantial preparation for whatever development you are looking to do, it will be hard not to be impressed. As you drive into the property it is obvious a lot of care has been given to this property. The humble beginning of a container with a lean-to houses the original off grid solar system as well as providing great storage. Now the property has both the choice of off grid and full mains power. A hot house has been added, a garden shed and a veggie enclosure too. There is even an electric bike charging station. But the real feature here is the amazing spring-fed dam that is said to hold around 1 million litres. Overlooking the mesmerising reflections of the dam, the native bushland that surround and the snow-capped mountain in the distance, is a quaint studio ideal for a more comfortable glamping weekend. Also included is a portable tiny house on an old apple truck trailer providing 4 bedrooms and a small living space complete with a slow combustion wood heater. The studio is highly insulated and comprises of a living space, basic kitchen, dining room and a separate bathroom with a simple composting loo. An instant gas unit provides hot water making stays on your land very comfortable. There is a wood fire to ensure you can use the studio right the way through winter and keep you warm on those fresh summer nights. There is a water tank for rainwater collection off of the studio roof and another off of the container roof for nice clean drinking water. The dam then provides an excessive amount of extra water via a fire pump already set up to feed outlets near the studio and at the veggie garden too. Just in behind is a lovely natural stone feature that was ideal to set up an outdoor bath area. Here there are two baths, one is a traditional wood-fired bath and the other with a timber deck surround. Both overlook the beautiful views on offer. Down at the dam, there is a small jetty and a really cool swing that complete the scene as well as offering a bit of fun for the kids.Going for a walk on this property is almost endless. There are tracks that lead right across the top and down the other side deep into the forest where you will discover a mossy meadow and a winter creek full of ferns, tall gums and other wet forest vegetation. From here the property shares boundaries with forest reserves and crown land, providing an almost endless amount of hiking opportunities. Just down the road there is the Hastings Bay inlet, which leads out to the Southport bay and around to the famous and seriously picturesque Southport Lagoon with its pure white sandy beaches. Kayaking, fishing and Hiking are in abundance with the whole South West Wilderness to explore and use as your playground. The air is pure and the water is clean. This is healthy living at its best.Located around 10 minutes south of Dover, where you will find your basic services such as supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, bank, cafes and even a local primary school.
