The Air Walk is a perfect day trip for your in-laws who are scared of heights, or simply a great day out for the family. The township has plenty of amenities including a hardware, petrol station, a school, several cafes, shops, and the well known Geeveston Bakery & Pie Shop. According to Robert L from Melbourne on Tripadvisor, they make the best chunky steak and cheese pie he's had - better buy one and find out for yourself! The larger town of Huonville is just 15 minutes away by car, Hobart is 45 minutes, and if you head south for 20-25 minutes you will find Dover - full of pristine quiet beaches to enjoy in the summer.
