Last Listing description (March 2017)

The Old Post Office in Bothwell has an interesting past; the wooden building was constructed for the Commercial Bank of Tasmania, and operated between 1888 to 1895, and later served as a Pharmacy before being surrendered to the Crown for postal purposes in 1898.
The post office was moved in 2007 and became a general shop.
The last remaining hitching rail (for the tying up of your horse) still remains outside, although it has been refurbished.

The house and shop are of an area of some 251m2 approx, and the property contains nine main rooms, not including two bathrooms, kitchen, laundry and so on.
There are expansive hallways, with Tasmanian hardwood flooring, four panel doors, wide skirting and all the features of a property of this area.
The property is sited on a quarter acre block, with some wonderful established gardens, workshop and garaging.
This is an opportunity not to miss with boundless potential for the usage of this property.
