Bicheno is a hub for wildlife experiences including the Nature World Wildlife Sanctuary, home to Tasmanian Devils, as well as the Bicheno Penguin Tour and Devils in the Dark tour.
Bicheno is also 10 minutes drive from the Apsley Douglas National Park, great for an immersive bush experience with a number of short walks that showcase unique Tasmanian flora.
However, once back in Bicheno you can put away the car keys and walk to Waubs Beach or Redbill Beach for a swim, sample Tasmanian wines and artisan spirits at The Farm Shed Wine Centre or enjoy freshly caught and cooked seafood along the waterfront.
Bicheno is the perfect base from which you can enjoy all that the scenic East Coast has to offer. Only 25 minutes to Coles Bay and the stunning Hazard Ranges and Wineglass Bay. 20 minutes to fresh East Coast oysters and the wide expanse and fine white sand of the Friendly Beaches. 10 minutes to a number of vineyards specialising in cool climate and sparkling wines – there are 21 vineyards along Tasmania’s East Coast.

Our unit suits a couple or two couples wishing to explore the East Coast treasures or just relax and enjoy the views

Our unit is not suitable for children so only adult bookings are accepted and we ask that you respect our neighbourhood of permanent residents.
