Approximately 537 hectares (1327.14ac) is cleared and arable, with some 195 hectares (481ac) of land being cleared and semi cleared grazing land and shelter. Current practice is to crop the land on a rotational basis, with generally half of the arable land cropped on a yearly basis. Generally wheat and barley are predominantly grown over the property.

The property is situated on the northern side of Back Beach Road and southern side of Cape Bauer Road, between 5km and 7km of the Streaky Bay township. Coastal dunes adjoin the western boundary of the property. Access to the property is from Streaky Bay, via Back Beach or Cape Bauer Roads. Local silo facilities are located at Streaky Bay.
Situated in both the Primary Production Zone and Coastal Conservation Zone within the District Council of Streaky Bay.
The farm consists of a mixed farming practice comprising of cropping and livestock. Crops planted are generally wheat, barley and oats. Livestock consists primarily of sheep.
Power, mains water are connected to the property.
Predominantly light brown and grey sandy calcareous based soils predominantly over limestone along with some areas of sand. The property is suitable for both cropping and grazing practices.
This property is generally level to lightly undulating in nature, between 30m and 60m above sea level.
Cover varies little across the property from the crops, which include wheat, barley and oats, to grazing cover such as spear grass, barley grass and clovers. There is some native vegetation on the property, generally on stony rises.
The natural shelter consists of the native vegetation predominantly on sandier and stonier ground on the property.
The property is divided into some 13 main paddocks. In general, the majority of fencing on the property is good / average condition. The majority of fencing is generally typical post and wire (5 to 6 line cyclone) with either barb or plain wire on top. Posts and strainers are generally timber with some steel posts and star droppers used to support the fence in places. The age of the fencing also varies with some new and some old.
The supply and quality of water on the property is generally good and is supplied via SA Water mains. Most paddocks have reticulated water available.
The following improvements are located on the property, all on Section 150:
Approx 9m x 24m steel and timber framed iron clad 3 stand shearing shed. Concrete floor, timber board and grate.
9m x 15m open end steel framed iron implement/super shed, 1m concrete bunker walls, concrete floor.
6m x 6m steel framed iron clad chemical storage shed.
An access track to an adjoining sand mine lease area runs through the property. An access fee of $5,000 + GST per annum is paid to the land owners for access across the property to the sand mine.
The property is regarded as grain producing country and is also ideally suited to beef and wool production.
