Last Listing description (February 2020)

Saddleworth school complete with blackboards is a step back in time.
Constructed in 1870 with larger addition in 1877. Standing sentinel up on top of the hill overlooking the town its as good as any of the classics.

Education was a key element of this growing town and the school played a significant role in attracting people to this bustling community. Things are a bit quieter now and there is no train, but you are adjacent to the Barrier Highway with access to travellers or an easy mind clearing drive from the city.

The building is of stone construction with good size rooms, there is still the covered recess/lunch area.
It looks pretty much just like it did when the kids left.
This is a trip down memory lane. Great natural light with high ceilings and space to develop bedrooms / work areas etc are all here plus it has character and maybe even some different layout opportunities.

Its not a big block so its easy to look after. There is no toilet/bathroom/kitchen/septic in place

This property suits a variety of uses from residence, BnB, or Gallery. Bring your imagination and create a space to enjoy.

If you have been studying the internet and scouring the books for something different, even a church, this should be within your mathematical equation as it will all add up to be the correct solution for your needs.
