VENDOR'S POINTS OF INTEREST:
ABOUT OUR HOME
The brief for our custom built home was for a family home that was elegant and sophisticated yet practical and functional.
Our design focus was heavily influenced by contemporary European and Australian design which can be seen though light filled open spaces such as the family living, dining, kitchen space as well intimate private spaces such as the master suit with private court yard and seclude second living area. Structural features that helped create a light filled open home include 2.7 meter ceiling heights, 2.4 meter doors, oversized windows, architectural louvers and square set cornices.
All the way through our home we have selected high fixtures and finishes to compliment the home such as beautiful natural materials like smoked and limed engineered oak flooring, designer New Zealand wool carpets, elegant quality window coverings and natural honed Carrera marble just to name a few. Where our selections are most visible is in the elegant kitchen which features Italian 900m Smeg oven and range hood, Blanco square set under mount sink and dish washer as well as Swiss designer tap wear all set of against stunning honed Carrera marble. The eye catching honed marble is also included in the elegant bathrooms which all feature oversized showers, floating vanities and large stylish basins and feature herringbone wall tiling.
With our family consisting of ourselves and our two adult children it was imperative that we create private spaces each to our own. This was created through a hotel inspired ground floor master suit separate from all other bedrooms and living spaces which consist of a spacious bedroom with private court yard a small hall way leading to a generous W.I.R and ensuite. The first floor ensures complete privacy with a second intimate living space with two additional bedrooms, both with solid core doors to reduce noise disturbance from any other areas of the home. Also included on the first floor is a large family bathroom. In addition on the ground floor, at the front of the home separated by the entrance hall is a versatile fourth bedroom/ study also with solid core door creating another space to escape.
The bright light filled family living area leads directly onto a paved entertaining space which overlooks a generous low maintenance landscaped garden which includes automatic integrated watering system.
Other features included additional internal wall insulation, energy saving E glass to windows and doors as well Fujitsu ducted reverse cycle air conditioning.
