The two dams have in the past been adequate for both cattle and sheep stock but there is also an unequipped bore of some 68 metres deep drilled by a professional operator in December 2006 and it could be operated with injectors and a fire fighting pump, or a generator powered submersible pump, to add to the supply of water.
There is no mains power available but various aspects of the land, and particularly the housing block, would be ideal for solar panels. Water supply would be through rainwater tanks.
Overall, this is a unique lifestyle property offering the chance of carving out your own self contained part of paradise in this lovely region of the Clare Valley. It is a most reluctant sale by the present owners.
