Torie said Brooks artwork are a statement piece on their own so when styling the home for sale all furniture, lamps, linen and accessories and colours where carefully selected to compliment the artwork. I love the striking black and white theme he has used internally and externally on this beautiful classic double fronted cottage, it lends itself to this colour theme so well. There are so many amazing features about the home from the great size rooms, to the one black feature wall that surrounds the white fire place in each bedroom, to Brooks hand painted floor to ceiling mural, along with the 1.3 metre black lamp shade that is suspended in the rear lounge, an old large red propeller hung on the wall in the rear lounge room and the partly exposed brick work. Just to name a few of his very creative aspects of the home.
