Last Listing description (August 2019)

Located at the highest point at the end of a quiet cul de sac with stunning panoramic views over the township of Nairne and beyond, you will find yourself hearing nothing except the leaves in the breeze. When you arrive home from work, stand still for a moment, with the afternoon sun on your face while you soak up the views and let the days stresses dissolve away.... your home.
When you drive up Emma Road, you will appreciate the well kept gardens and pretty homes, just like yours. The face of the home is modern and attractive with sandstone cladding framed by rendered quoins. There is an ornate bay window with arched frames and decorative moulding on one side and a portico over the welcoming front door which is slightly set back to create good shelter. The other half of the frontage is occupied by the twin remote colourbond roller doors. The colours are warm sandstone with creamy browns and they work beautifully with the grey colourbond roof and guttering. The front gable form over the bay window is carried through to a Dutch gable feature to add further interest to the roof line.
The home is elevated but still has easy direct access to the double garage via the wide concrete driveway. The rest of the frontage is a pretty low maintenance cottage style garden scattered amongst the natural stone tiers that frame the driveway. A hedge of silvery conifers effectively screen the neighbours from view and filter out sounds.

Inside the front door is an entry space which becomes a hallway and takes you through to the living space at the rear of the home. To the right off the hallway is the lovely main bedroom with its bay window taking in the views and garden. The room has a big walk in robe and ensuite access to the two way bathroom. The bathroom has a bath and shower and separate vanity area plus a separate toilet. On the other side of the hallway is the internal access to the double garage which you will appreciate when you have to unload the groceries and the children on a wet winter day. Further down the hallway are two more good size bedrooms and one has built in robes.
The kitchen has wrap around benches with a corner walk in pantry and overlooks the spacious family and meals area; great for family interaction. The area is air conditioned with a split system reverse cycle air conditioner making it a comfortable living space all year round. If you just want a breeze, switch on the ceiling fan. The kitchen is equipped with modern stainless steel appliances and like the rest of the home they are only 12 years old.
Big sliding glass doors provide access out to the gable roof undercover entertaining space which has a concrete base. The home and the outdoor entertaining area is configured to take advantage of the northern sun which warms the area for most of the day, and also provides a relaxing shady area to enjoy the summer days and entertain outside.
If you want to really relax and wind down take a walk up to the elevated garden nook with a book and a coffee. The views are stunning and it s whisper quiet. You will get to the second page before you fall asleep!
Like the front garden, the rear garden is very low maintenance, allowing you lots of time to catch up on that book. The area is paved with pink river pebbles and the natural stone retaining wall is dotted with pretty ground covers and cottage style shrubs. Along the rear fence is a soft Pittosporum hedge which effectively screens the rear with its soft colouring.
The home is all electric. It has neutral colouring throughout and has been repainted since new. The floors are mostly ceramic tiled with good quality carpets in the bedrooms. The dwelling has had very light treatment over its short life and really is an an as new condition. It has been exceptionally well maintained in every respect. You will find you have virtually nothing to do except arrange your furniture when you move in.
You will love the location. Nairne is a gorgeous little town, loaded with history and character, and still retains that friendly country feel. Walk down the main street and say hi... you will get a smile and hello back.
The bus stop is within walking distance, with a brilliant service. The T842 will get you to the Adelaide CBD in an hour and 15 minutes; no traffic stress and no parking costs.... more time to catch up on that book.
Mount Barker is only 8 minutes by car and has almost every service and shopping option you could want. The schools are brilliant. The local Nairne Primary School is only 2 kilometres drive and the options in Mount Barker and surrounding areas are huge. The buses servicing the schools are excellent and some of the schools in the hills operate dedicated private buses from the Nairne main street.
A great please to live, and immaculate home, a brilliant lifestyle.... you have to seriously consider this home.
