This property is a flat rural allotment of 6.22 hectares (approx. 15.4 acres) and is a fresh blank canvas in an ideal location to establish that dream family or holiday home only a few minutes from the centre of the historic Milang township which is situated on the west coast of the mighty Lake Alexandrina. (STCC)
The property offers a quiet and relaxing rural environment which is well away from any neighbors, and the area is abound with stunning natural vistas, bird life, and plenty of history that remains from the era of the paddle steamers that plied the River Murray.
Milang was a significant port on the Murray River System between 1860 & 1880, when wool from the Darling and Upper Murray stations was transported by paddle steamer to it and then onto Port Adelaide by horse and bullock teams. Wheat was also transported to Milang, to be processed at its flour mills and then shipped back as flour.

The favourite local pastimes include swimming, fishing, water sports, and boating. Milang is also home to the famous Milang to Goolwa yacht race, and unique colourful shacks of the Lake foreshore.
The Milang township is only a few minutes away and boasts retail shops, hotel, Post Office, school, community centre, bowling club, tennis courts, bakery, churches, motel and caravan park. The main town centre of Strathalbyn and the famous Langhorne Creek Wine District are both only around 20 minutes away by road, and the Adelaide CBD is a comfortable 60 minutes drive via the South Eastern Freeway.
