What We Love About Our Home!
There are many things we love and will miss about our home when we move interstate. We have enjoyed 5 wonderful years in the Littlehampton community and have watched our three children grow up in a very safe and beautiful region.
Area and Community: Cowan Avenue is a quiet, leafy area with reserves less than 200 metres away and playgrounds an enjoyable, easy 10 minute walk away. Neighborhood cricket games are enjoyed on summer evenings and at Christmas the street is aglow with beautifully decorated houses and gardens.

Transport and Amenities: Littlehampton has flourished over the years we have lived here. There are now several restaurants, a bakery/caf , full family medical centre with caring doctors and extended hours, a pharmacy, supermarket and 24/7 service station with takeaway all only a 10 minute walk away. Located within the zone for the popular Littlehampton Primary School. There are also many other options available within the Hills, and most private city schools run school buses to the Littlehampton area. We enjoy easy access to major arterial roads 35 minutes by car to city, 40 minutes to Flinders and 50 minutes to the beaches of Victor Harbor.
We live in a nirvana of food, spoilt for choice with award winning butchers, bakers and local farmers markets. We pick our own local strawberries and organic apples and indulge at the many chocolate cafes and cheesemongers and boutique breweries in the hills as well as the doorstep enjoyment of world-class wines and the Adelaide Hills wine trail.
Family Living and Entertaining: We love the semi-rural lifestyle living in Littlehampton provides, every evening and weekend is a holiday from our busy life working and educating our children in the city. This home is a fantastic mix of rear open plan casual living blended with the front formal dining and lounge perfect to enjoy good times with family and friends. We regularly entertain and all love the easy relaxed atmosphere while safely watching our children play in the yard or within the fenced saltwater pool.
The zoned ducted air-conditioning keeps the house lusciously cool in summer and the luxury of 2 combustion fires means it stays cosy on the coldest winter night. The logical floor plan is a dream to live in day-to-day. All the bedrooms are huge with ample cupboard storage and floor space and we have been lucky enough to keep the master bedroom as a guest suite to welcome interstate and overseas visitors.
Gardens: We love our backyard! The gardens have been overhauled and the soil enriched ready for replanting with easily maintained and attractive plants suitable for the Hills. The gentle espaliering of pears and herb garden in the BBQ area makes for an attractive summer evening nook to sit and enjoy a cooling drink. The rare flat-grassed area provides an awesome play space and the long concreted driveway offers a contained ball court and riding space.
We hope you love living here for the same reasons we did.
