The balcony, which is accessed from the main bedroom or externally by stairs, was redecked about two years ago. A rear verandah, the wider section having pattern paved concrete and lazerlite covering, extends from the barbecue area along the rear of the residence. The pool enclosure is partially brick paved and decked, with a shade clothed gazebo to sit and relax. The fibre glass, salt treated pool is approximately 11m x 4m and up to 1.8m at the deep end. The pool is solar heated. Within the fenced pool enclosure is also the garden which is an extension of the front botanical garden. Two small garden sheds to one side of the front yard provide storage, whilst the garden shed in the rear garden provides storage for the chook food. Adjacent to this shed is the chook yard.
