Known as 'late country', fertile water retaining clay rich soils are predominantly black vertosols with high organic content. Loamy podzolic sands occur as shallow banks throughout and give a deeper profile where present.
A strong phosphate history and good drainage provides highly productive farming options for both grazing and cropping.

The property is divided over three adjoining sections, being sections; 174, 175 & 176 Hundred of Smith.
Section 174 consists an area of approximately 525ac and is fenced into seven paddocks with three windmills. Section 175 is a single paddock of 53ac with one windmill.
