Last Listing description (July 2018)

Now available! This charming character home with historical value on a beautiful, peaceful approx 5.5 acres roughly 500m to the main street of the Clarendon township!
The land was originally purchased by John and James Turner who arrived from Glasgow around 1837. The first two room stone dwelling now provides undercover storage or could possibly be utilised as a covered outdoor entertaining area with stone fireplace. It may be accessed from the main living area of the home. The adjoining stone cottage and cellar were constructed in 1857 by John's son Robert and include bricks from the Blackwood kiln and slate from Willunga.
Since then additions complementing the structure provide additional accomodation with two more bedrooms, a bathroom and a large living area completing the family home.

In the past the property has been used for cropping, running sheep, grape growing and more recently (1980's) was set up for horses with stables and an arena. These are currently not in use but may be able to be re-established if required.
Extras include ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning, mains water supply, multi-tank eco septic system, double carport and adjoining float/boat/van port plus old stone barn and stable.
