RESIDENCE
The 1984 built, three bedroom, brick veneer home has, as its central feature, the large open plan living area incorporating the formal dining area, kitchen, casual meals and lounge. The front entry opens into the lounge, which has feature brick walls, and the 2014 purchased combustion heater on a tiled hearth. The casual meals area separates the lounge from the kitchen. The kitchen was fully renovated in 2011 and has bench top electric induction hot plates and a wall oven, a walk-in corner pantry, a good amount of bench space with a breakfast bar and under bench storage with soft close drawers. An archway leads from the kitchen into the formal dining area which is partly separated from the lounge by a low, feature brick, parapet wall. A Mitsubishi split system, reverse cycle, air conditioner was installed in the dining section in 2014. A ceiling fan in the lounge helps move the temperature controlled air throughout the home. This bedroom, as well as the main bedroom and bedroom two, are accessed from the lounge via the carpeted passageway. The main bedroom has direct access to the bathroom which has a bath and shower alcove. The vanity with onyx hand basin and soft close drawers has a large mirrored wall cupboard, is next to the bathroom and separate toilet. The laundry is also accessed from the passageway. This rear verandah, which has been the location of many a BBQ, extends across the rear of the carport which is attached to the eastern side of the home. Immediately behind the home is a Colorbond structure housing the outside toilet and hand basin. A side verandah between the home and western boundary fence provides a sheltered area and houses the wall mounted clothes line.
