This block is right next door to the Peron Waterhole. Back in the olden days the travelling stockmen stopped at Peron's waterhole and watered their cattle and horses here. Today we would call this a dam, but apparently it is spring fed, so maybe 'waterhole' is the best term for it. You will find a photo of it, but don't go thinking it is on this block. However, it is an indication that this block will hold a dam.
This block once housed the Peron State School. The school buildings were moved off in the mid-1930's and the only remaining evidence of it being there is the gnarly old apple trees.
There is a caravan located at the back of the property, along with two sheds that do not have concrete floors. There are also a couple of paddock bashers, but there is no guarantee that they have engines left in them now.
