**I emailed Logan City Council with some questions regarding this block of land and the questions and answers are listed below:
1. As the block is scrub covered would a buyer be allowed to clear the block to create a building site, large cleared backyard, etc.
A: Can clear 25 metres around the house and 3 metres from the fence line, any other clearing requires application to council. All scrub and regrowth may be cleared. Trees over 4 metres high are counted as significant and if not within the 25m clearance zone then application for operational works is needed and assessment is free for clearance of up to 10 trees, charges apply after that.
2. Are you allowed to keep horses in this area on this size block? If so, how many?
A. Yes. Any amount.
3. Is there power and water to the block?
A. No water (tank only). Power line runs past block – check with Origin to see if there is a connection.
4. Plans show the cul-de-sac at the end of Sandpiper Dr continues and also shows a road to the left side of this block but they currently do not exist. Are there plans for either of these to be changed?
A. End of Sandpiper allocated for parkland so won’t be developed. Left hand is a laneway and council currently have no plans for this to change.
5. Are there any other plans for this street that I should be aware of?
A. Cannot be subdivided.
