Things I enjoy about 242 Upper Rosemount Road, Rosemount

Living here has many different phases from the changes in the sun as it moves through the seasons, to the vegetation having its special time to shine. There is always something to capture. The views are many from within the house. You can stand out on the deck and get the view of the ocean, down the Maroochy River, and as far as the lights on Bradman Avenue. You can lie in bed and have a direct view of Mount Coolum. The other bedrooms provide breezes scented from the sweetness of the gums, and the rooms under the house are cool in summer and warm in winter. Again, there is views in the distance, and as close as the garden directly outside every window. The loo even has a view.

Sitting out the back feels as if you are the only person around for miles. The bush track provides more than enough space to relax and enjoy the full experience of nature. Outside the driveway you can turn left or right for a brisk walk or fast ride on your bike. The beach is doable on the bike if you can push it up Rosemount Lane on the way home. We are surrounded by shops and produce and the neighbours are just far enough away to enjoy the music up loud and visitors to stay late.

The wallabies come up to eat the grass at times and the bush turkey is well trained not to come too close to the house. When the girlfriend comes through it's a bit of a different story; but she doesn't hang around long. The nest he builds just don't cut it for her. They take the odd tomatoes from the vegie patch and he seems to like roses for some reason. The birds are many and can be most enjoyed first thing in the morning. They seem to have their own turn to show off how beautiful they can sing or call out.
