Message from the Owner:

'My two kids and I loved this home and the friendly quiet neighbourhood. A peaceful haven when it needed to be, but always so full of adventures and fun.

The high elevation gives great privacy, relaxing views and the most fantastic mobile phone reception. (High speed internet without a landline!). The house was always cool, and we rarely used the air-conditioning. However, we did use the fireplace, all the time more for atmosphere and fun than for heating.

It is a house that is so flexible for growing children. The family room off the kitchen, started as a craft room when the kids were preschool aged, then changed to a Lego room, before making way for homework desks.
The three bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs, is perfect for family living. The bonus room downstairs (which has been used as a bedroom for families renting), I used as an Art Studio/Office. We loved how it opened onto the courtyard where my kids enjoyed ball games, and in later years setup a small wood working/art bench of their own.

The gardens and back deck were the site of many adventures, science experiments and parties. The young musician concerts on the deck were amazing! The vegetable gardens grew the biggest carrots and the juiciest citrus.
We were famous amongst friends and neighbourhood kids, for laying big sheets of cardboard down the slope of the front yard to make the ultimate toboggan slide. They also loved joining the kids in the cubby house for pretend coffee shops, and the spy tower inspired many nurf gun and water bomb games. I am sure that as they got older it would have been a great garden shed full of grown up toys; however, now that we have become a part of a bigger family, we are looking for another family to enjoy adventures in this gorgeous home.'
