LOCATION:
Santa Rosa is situated 32* kilometres northwest of Biloela (8* km off the Burnett Highway) and 33* northeast of Banana (14*km off the Dawson Highway) on the Belldeen Greycliffe Road. The city of Rockhampton is 129*km to the north and the city of Gladstone is 131* km to the east.

MARKETS & SERVICES:
Export abattoirs at Biloela and Rockhampton, saleyards at Biloela, Moura and Gracemere. The town of Biloela is the major centre in the Banana Shire and offers a full range of shopping and services. Primary school at Jambin (17* km) and secondary schools at Biloela.

COUNTRY: Brigalow, softwood scrub country with Collins Creek forming the northern boundary. Soils range from heavy scrub loams to reddish soil. An area from the corner of Reimers Road along the Belldeen Greycliffe Road is flood out brigalow country and benefits from overflow of Collins Creek, the owners have identified this area for the construction of a 50 megalitre dam collecting overland flow and enabling the potential establishment of irrigation.

PASTURES:
Approximately 120* acres of leucaena (50* acres at 7 to 8 metre rows and 70* acres at 10 metre rows). Improved pastures consist of buffel, bambasti, panic, sabi and paragrass. Legumes comprise butterfly pea, progrades desmanthus and seca stylo.

WATER:
The property is connected to the Coreen Water Scheme, a Qld Government scheme which supplies water pumped from the Kroombit Creek aquifer and gravity feeds to the property, annual allocation for stock use is 1,202 kilolitres and the annual water charge for the Coreen Water Scheme is $1,739 invoiced in quarterly. The scheme supplies water to the meter on the boundary visa Reimers Road, the Water Board is responsible for maintenance of the pipeline to that point. Scheme water is gravity fed from a 16,000-litre tank to troughs in all paddocks. Surface water from dams or swamps is available in all paddocks. The dam below the house is equipped with an electric pump set on a pontoon.

FENCING:
