Last Listing description (November 2022)

With a concrete driveway and double gate side access, a 2 1/2 bay shed with two roller doors and a half bay workshop, plus a lawn locker, access and outdoor storage for vehicles and gardening equipment is completely taken care of in this well-thought-out property. Alongside the house is an extra open carport attached to the side of the house. Downstairs is a brick base. Although not legal height downstairs, the downstairs area contains numerous useful features. Upon entry, you walk into a library area in the stairwell. At the rear of the house is the laundry, and then on another side downstairs on the right-hand side is a playroom that has a split system air conditioning unit and its own toilet and small vanity. Although not legal height for a bedroom, it remains a very useful and flexible space. On the left-hand side, what is currently known as a "junk room" has a box air conditioner, making this space another flexible and functional room, perhaps a study/office or storage space. With no existing shelving or anything in there, this room is a blank canvas waiting for you to choose how you wish to design and use it.

There are internal stairs leading upstairs, where you will be struck by the stunning, polished timber floors. Creating even more space is a front verandah leading from the lounge room via sliding glass doors where you can relax and enjoy your quiet neighbourhood. The lounge and dining room are both open plan, whereas the kitchen is behind a dividing wall, where there is an upright stove with four gas burners, rangehood, double sink and a copious amount of storage and bench space! There is a box air conditioner in the lounge that works but is rarely needed because of the delightful cross flow breeze ventilation through the house.

Bedroom 3 is the 1st bedroom, and although on the smaller side, it contains a double built-in wardrobe with two sliding doors. The floor has good carpet with a fan but no air conditioning.

Bedroom 1 has a split system air conditioner, a fan, and a five-door built-in cupboard with vertical slots in the built-in copper doors.

The 2nd bedroom has a split system air conditioner, no fan, and it has a double built-in wardrobe and carpeted flooring.
The bathroom has a shower over the bathtub and the toilet is within that bathroom; the flooring in there is half tiles, half-timber.

The split-system aircons were installed five years ago, and work well. The neighbours are quiet and very nice. Outdoors, the backyard backs onto a school, so the back neighbour is the school, and the current owners have enjoyed this aspect of the property.
There is an outdoor entertaining area downstairs; it's just a small sort of lean-to outdoor area, but with plenty of space for family gatherings and barbecues.

This home is fully security screened for your peace of mind, still allowing the breeze to aerate and cool the home.

Don't hesitate to contact Robyn to organize an inspection to ensure you are well in the running to secure this comfortable family home.
