My favourite properties are the ones that back onto the upper reaches of Baffle Creek and these 40 acres (16.3 ha) with an 12m x 8m powered shed is no exception. A tractor with bucket and slasher is included in the sale.
The shed is comfortable and has been partly lined with cold room paneling. One end has been closed off and is air conditioned. The remainder of the shed is used for storage & car accommodation. It could quite easily be made into a fully liveable dwelling. Power is connected to a meter box and supplies power to the shed via extension cords. Off one end of the shed is a concrete slab set up ready for a rainwater tank and located separately is a toilet & shower.
With no neighbours close by and being on a no-through road, here you can have your peace & privacy and a beautiful property to enjoy. You can drive right through the block down to the creek which has dense rainforest along 254m back boundary. The creek is lovely and although looking a bit sad due to drought, in normal years you will have permanent flowing fresh water (I have put a photo in of the creek normally at this time of year).
Very diversified vegetation throughout, one boundary is fenced and there are two seasonal creeks which traverse the property. The road is bitumen from north or south to within 2 km of the block.
Close to tidal waterways and beautiful beaches that this area is renowned for, come and enjoy rural living in a lovely coastal area.
If you decided to live on the block, mail is delivered 5 days a week, rubbish bin collection is available and the school bus is available for both primary and high school children. Rates are approx. $1,058 per year.
Approx. distances: Baffle Creek 27km, Bundaberg 76km, Agnes Water 61km, Gladstone 125km.
Copy and paste these co-ordinates 24 32 53.08 s 151 48 14.41 e into google earth to look at the property and area by satellite. An image showing boundaries, other relevant maps along with a good map of the area can be emailed if you would like to contact me.
Well known for good fishing, crabbing and prawns, Baffle Creek is an undiscovered area and thus quiet and peaceful. Bitumen roads from north or south, most of our blocks are 40 acres or larger which helps ensure your privacy. Crocodile & box jellyfish free, there are 4 tidal waterways and beautiful unspoilt beaches. Add a sub-tropical climate to all this and what do you have - paradise :)
