Auctionworks online is a website designed and controlled by one of Australia's largest and most respected auctioneering companies. It complies with relevant auction legislation and creates enforceable contracts so the rights of owners and buyers are completely protected.
People interested in purchasing one of these properties needs to provide sufficient identification to the agents so they may register to bid. Their details remain completely confidential and once uploaded to the website by the agents, generates an email to that person which allows them to finalise their registration online, pick their favourite bidding number and make bids once the auction starts.
A starting bid is provided at the beginning of the auction and all properties are protected by a conservative reserve price. When each bid is made, all bidders can see which bidders number is holding the bid and whether the reserve has been reached or not. A clock counts down to the auctions end and if a bid id made in the last 5 minutes, the clock readjusts for a further 5 minutes. This provides fairness to all competitors.
