This exciting property awaits your inspection. Email Liz: liz.cruse@raywhite.com for a full information pack on this property.

Nestled in one of Moorooka's most tightly held pockets, Toohey Forest, Mount Coot-Tha and Brisbane City are your amazing backdrop, with views as far as the eye can see. Enjoy this relaxed and stylish four-bedroom private haven set amongst the trees high on the hill.

Maintaining many of the original 1950's features and all of its charm, this sprawling home has been thoughtfully modernised with contemporary additions throughout. Offering all your living on one level, the home features elegant timber floors, high ceilings and an abundance of natural light. This home will easily accommodate your family and guests and allow them individual spaces throughout.

After reading the owners comments I realised that I can't say it any better. Here are the owners' comments:

"Welcome to our luxury treehouse. A sanctuary for when you want to relax. A fortress up on the hill for privacy. The perfect distance to the bustling city whilst still feeling miles away from the chaos!

This is an incredibly family-friendly home, with wonderful neighbours and an exceptional surrounding community. Situated on a sweet little cul de sac, it has been a quiet and safe place for our family. Upon first walking into the home, it absolutely took our breath away. Certainly, the views of Mt Coo-tha and the city were breathtaking, but moreso the deep integration with nature at our doorstep as Toohey Nature Reserve serves as an extension of this home for hikes, bird watching and beautifully fresh breezes.

We have loved that the low-maintenance native yard has endless nooks and crannies for the kids to play wild and free, be it for a swim in our mineral pool overlooking the city or observing the echidna's that scamper through the garden. Our daughter knows when it's dinner time because the kookaburras call out and wave goodnight on our fence post; the lorikeets flock to eat the red berries from the umbrella trees hanging around our home. It sounds like a storybook, but this is the reality of this home, and it is what has allowed us to create memories within it unlike any other.

With the original intention for this to be our forever home, we made many improvements along the way that make for ease of life and entertainment while trying to maintain the character of the original home. We installed remote controlled blinds on the expansive wall to wall windows in the architecturally designed master bedroom and ensuite extension (though we sleep with them open most evenings to take in the sunset/starlit night or forest views from our bed!). A Belgium freestanding wood burning fireplace (Stuv), a large custom stone bench seat along with full length bifold doors in the living room have kept us warm on a winters night to roast marshmallows and drink hot choccy. We added a servery window in the kitchen, an alfresco cocktail bar on the deck, quality light fittings with dimmable LED's as well as Crimsafe security screens and glass louvers in all bedrooms - everything has been so thoughtfully crafted along the way.

Oh, and perhaps most importantly, this home has storage galore! Everywhere you look we have created spaces to hide away the mess so you can maintain your connection to the spectacular outdoors.

This is such a very rare and sublime home nestled away, yet still bustling with life, and we hope your family cherishes it as we have."
