Kurrimine Beach is within a 30-meter walk across the lawn and King Reef itself is less than a 1 km canoe or a boat trip to bountiful fishing and painted cray collecting grounds. A few times a year the tide is so low, holiday-makers and locals take a walk to the reef (please seek local advice and check tide times and heights carefully). The outer Great Barrier Reef is about an hour run so why not bring the boat! There is plenty of off-street parking available. A Charter Boat for Fishing or Island Hopping is now operating out of Kurrimine.
Reef & Beach has been refurbished with families in mind but with the upstairs-downstairs layout, it is ideal for 2 couples to get away but still enjoy their own space. There are stunning waterfront views from both upstairs and downstairs. If it is a smaller group you may choose to use one floor or the other to make clean up at home time easier.
It has 2 queen bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living and outdoor deck upstairs while downstairs features 3 bedrooms ( 1 Queen room, 2 Double room and, 2x2 single bunks in another), full-size kitchen, bathroom, laundry, open plan dining lounge with deck and BBQ. But want still moreOK!!! Reef and Beach is fully air-conditioned, fully fenced so outside dogs (max 2) welcome and it also has an air hockey/pool table in the games room for the kids large and small.
"Reef & Beach" with views second to none is in a central spot and is an easy walk to the King Reef Resort, Takeaways, Playground, Boat Ramp, Stinger Net along the traffic-free King Reef Walking Track.
The tariff is $350/night or $2205/week per first six guests. Extras are charged at $35/adult and $15/child per night. Pre-schoolers are free.
Linen can be hired at $20/person per stay or happy for guests to BYO ( top and bottom sheets, pillowcases and towels) to help keep costs down.
