Inspect By Appointment

Mr and Mrs Merwood are house proud...and when you walk through the door, you will see why.

They are the neighbours you can only dream of having and it will be sad to see them leave our little haven of Kuraby. But they are ready to retire and enjoy the sunshine of Northern Queensland.

I am pleased to say however, that their care, and their attention to detail is what makes this house a home. If you ever drive around Ridgeline Circuit, which is just off Beris Crescent in Kuraby, in a quiet little cul de sac, you can almost be certain Mr Merwood is outside tending to his manicured lawns.

I remember when I first met them 5 years ago. I walked through and they greeted me with a big smile which, if you know me, is something I truly appreciate.

I took off my shoes and walked in through a fantastic grand entrance. The first thing that stood out was the high cathedral ceilings in the formal entertaining area. I immediately felt at home. And that is what is remarkable about this house. This is the type of home where, whatever troubles you have, you can immediately leave them at the front door. You will know you are home.

The kitchen was the highlight of my visit. The white granite bench top was so clean you probably don't need plates. The oven and dishwasher have never been used and the open plan design made it feel like a real family home.

They have two little birds that come every day to the window sill and Mrs Merwood takes out a little bit of food to feed them from her alfresco area looking over her green plush gardens. This was a sight to see, and it was heart-warming to say the least.

When they showed me to their bedrooms, I was just as impressed with their size, with 2 bedrooms hosting walk in robes. They were also situated at the back of the house, away from the entertaining area, and is something many buyers I know will truly appreciate. The bathrooms were immaculate and the care taken to keep this home in pristine condition can certainly be experienced.

They have asked me to tender their home as this is their final asset before they retire and want someone to appreciate it just as much as they do.

So what is a tender? Well, it's quite simple. We will run a two week process of inviting all offers to the home. At the end of two weeks, Mr and Mrs Merwood and I will sit down and look at all the offers and decide on which offer is the most suitable for them to accept. This can be based on a number of factors, like price, conditions, and settlement time frames on the home.

Once this is decided, I will contact all relevant parties and inform them of the decision and you can be certain that this home will not last longer than that.
