Enjoy the stunning original hardwood flooring, vertical joinery and beautiful horsehair plaster ornate ceilings throughout the home, the current owners have lovingly cared for this charming house for over 20years, now it's your turn.
There have been Christmas's and Birthdays on the back deck, with games of cricket spilling out into Bancroft Park across the road, Grandchildren learning to ride their bikes along the bikeway and puppy dogs running amuck in the dog park... This home is full love and wonderful memories and it's time for new memories and a new family to make their wonderful mark on it.
Spend your weekend relaxing and enjoying your wonderful outlook. No work to do. All located in the fabulous suburb of Kelvin Grove meaning you are only minutes from the city, local shops, cafes and restaurants - it all sounds pretty perfect to us.
House Features:
- From the moment you walk through the front doors you'll be charmed by the VJ's, hardwood floors, and ornate ceilings.
- The spacious lounge room has plenty of space for a large lounge suite. It includes an opening through to the kitchen and breakfast bar, air conditioning and a ceiling fan.
- The kitchen is beautifully updated with plenty of storage, a great breakfast nook and opens through to the dining room and back deck.
- The dining space is big enough for a large dining table and a buffet unit, and includes French doors to the back deck.
- The deck is HUGE, with plenty of room for outdoor dining and lounging, it easily fits three living zones. All overlooking the backyard and across to beautiful Bancroft Park.

Whilst not quite being legal height it is a very usable space and great to have that extra room as a teenagers retreat, play room, art studio... so many options.
- Also under the house is a garage, store room, and the laundry room.
- The backyard is completely fenced and nicely planted and cared for.
- The land size is a large 607sqm and gives you plenty of space for the children or pets to play.
Location Features:
Probably the best feature if this house is the wonderful location straight across the road from Kelvin Grove's favourite park - Bancroft Park. Bancroft Park is well known amongst local residents as we all like to go there with our dogs to make use of the large dog park, and children can play safely at the playground, there is also a BBQ area for family get togethers. Another great feature of this parkland is that it doesn't end at Bancroft Park, the walkway can take you all the way out to The Gap (with many parks to stop out along the way) or right into the City via Herston... use it for bike rides, runs or walks... great for children riding their bikes and scooters safely.
Suburb Features:
In the growth suburb of Kelvin Grove, situated near the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital (RBWH) and the Kelvin Grove Village, this house is in the perfect location. The Kelvin Grove Village offers great shopping including many Restaurants and Cafes, a local Supermarket, Butcher, Dentist, Doctors and a Beauty Parlour. All this within a walk of your new home. The Village is quickly becoming something special with the Saturday Farmers Markets and many Creative Events on the calendar every year.
You are also easy distance to the Newmarket Shops, and also the fabulous Paddington Shopping precinct... so many dining and shopping options to choose from. On Sundays you can take the Parkland bikeway straight to the Northey St Organic Farmers markets.
Bancroft St is walking distance to the RBWH, one of Queensland's largest hospitals and one of the largest teaching hospitals in the Southern Hemisphere. Your new house is also incredibly close to the CBD for work and is surrounded by many great primary and secondary Schools.
You will love being a resident of such a great community.
