The unit is in a block of 4 in a quiet handy area of Hermit Park close to the Rising Sun Shopping Centre, walking distance to Coles Supermarket and many other amenities. It has been recently renovated with new paint, carpets and vinyl.
Main bedroom and lounge are fully air-conditioned with fans in all rooms. It is open plan with spacious combined dining lounge area. Bedrooms have large built-in cupboards. The kitchen has been recently renovated with new stove and benchtop and has plenty of cupboard and shelf space. A large140L hot water system has been recently installed in the large laundry area.
There is a fenced lawn court yard and clothes lines at the rear which is private. Lawn mowing is done fortnightly by contractor. Mowing and also a garden bag service are included in the rent. Hoses, tap timer and garden sprinklers are also provided to assist with outside maintenance. Water charges are paid for by the owners. Taking this into consideration the rent of $235 per week is very competitive.
The units are cool with breezes coming down the driveway and through the louvres from the front to the back. Palm trees at the front and driveway side of the units are attractive, provide shade and help cool the building. The large covered carport is very handy and is right at the front door and large enough for an outside sitting area.
We have owned the units since new. All maintenance is carried out promptly and we maintain the property to a high standard. We have mature quiet tenants in the other units. This is a very convenient low maintenance and low cost unit that feels comfortable, looks as new inside, and would suit mature working or retired persons.
