A fruiterer comes to Greenvale with fresh food every 2 weeks.

HEALTH WISE-
There is a Flying Doctor Clinic in Greenvale. The doctor attends every 2 weeks for medical appointments.

There is also a medical chest and a nursing person who is contacted to provide medicines prescribed by the doctor when needed between visits. -
There is an ambulance and a paramedic on call (if you dial 000).

A podatrist
attends the Greenvale clinic every 3 months -
A dental van comes about every 12 months -
A Dietician; a Mental Health worker an optomotrist also attends the clinic on a regular basis -
(all of these services are free to residents)

There is Government assistance if you need to travel to Townsville for health treatment which can include overnight accommodation and travel expenses.

In an emergency - the flying Doctor could have you delivered to the Emergency Ward at the Townsville Hospital perhaps quicker than if you live in the suburbs of Townsville and drive yourself and have to wait for admission!
